Homeland Adoption Services uses the shared listings, still has a designated list, and develops new programs in China, such as XingFu, which is orphanage specific. You can join their yahoogroup by sending an email to:

My agency Formons Une Famille in Montreal is doing SN referrals via the online system. They are also receiving file specifically for the agencies families as well.
They are a wonderful agency who work very hard for their families.

Hi,
I just got your note off of RQ and wanted to share my agency who was just approved for SN adoptions once again. It is New Life Adoption Agency (Syracuse, NY). They are going to be part of the shared list now but may have an agency only list as well and I will be usre to let you know if they do get it as well. Thanks. :)
Hugs,
Jonni

Does anyone know which of these agencies has a representative in China? I read that some agencies are able to open the list earlier because of the time difference by having local representation.

I just wanted to let you know that Harrah's is part of the shared list. We received a referral off it in October.

I forgot to answer you regarding my Agency.
Formons une famille (Montréal) is doing SN but is not part of WC shared-list. They continue to receive their agency's files.
I am surprised to see Enfants du Monde in position 29 - I was pretty sure this Agency was exactly like mine (only receiving files, not part of the WC) since they are the only two agencies doing SN in Québec.

Hi,
I just handed in my file to my agency, Formons une famille and they told me that Canada could not yet be a part of the
shared file (on-line)system because one of the drawbacks was that you were only given 48hrs to accept a file and thus not allowing enough time to have it viewed by a doctor.
I see that someone mentioned that enfants du monde which is also in Montreal is on the on-line system...Im feeling a little dooped by my agency! Does anyone have any clarifications on what the status is????

If you mean the internet based SN system, please include the Dutch Kind & Toekomst (Child & Future).

Yes, there seem to be more than 30. Many are listed here http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WaitingChild/links/Adoption_Agencies_in_001047102016/ , though this list is not up to date.

I am looking for a little girl age 6 who had a tumor removed when she was 7-8 months old. We were in the process of accepting her referral. If anyone has any information please email me at paulajpieratt@yahoo.com

I'm hearing that there are now 51 agencies now on the SN electronic system....do you have any more info... my agency is not on the system but is waiting for CCAA to approve them (0r so they say).
